Full Job Description

Position purpose: The Detail Entry Position is responsible for cleaning vehicles as assigned in accordance with dealership standards.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • · Responsible for clean cars: wash and vacuum vehicles for delivery. Preparing new car for the lot.
    • Checks in for assignments (a) Sold vehicles priority service and (b) Traded vehicles cleaned for resale.
    • Keeps track of all services performed on each vehicle (stock #, VIN #, etc., by listing on sheet).
    • Responsible for cleanliness of shop in and outside
    • Empty trash cans as needed
    • Responsible for security of vehicle keys while in possession
  • · Assisting with sales or service lot tasks
    • Moving vehicles on lot
    • Snow removal
    • Operation of extractor and ozone equipment
    • Upkeep on detail equipment, such as vacuum and buffers
