Treasure Valley Escape Rooms is quickly growing and searching for enthusiastic part-time escape room hosts with good communication and problem-solving skills. As a host, you help to provide a unique and immersive experience for our customers.

Not sure about what escape rooms are all about? Well, first, they are awesome! Each group of friends, family, or coworkers that visit an escape room has the opportunity to engage in a uniquely themed game. You might find yourself in an underground mine or even somewhere over the rainbow. Inside, they are required to find clues and solve puzzles within one hour to “escape the room.” Sounds like an exciting place to work? It is! Read on!

What will your responsibilities be?

• Welcome participants to the escape room and provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Set up the escape room for each new game session and ensure all props are in proper working order
• Monitor game play via a computer and give appropriate hints to players when necessary to promote their success
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned including, but not limited to: basic maintenance and/or cleaning
  tasks, recording inventory, marketing and promoting, etc.

• Attentive to detail and quick with problem-solving during on the spot situations
• Good at working alone or as part of a team
• Ability to remain calm and friendly while under pressure
• Confident speaking and interacting with small groups of people
• Reliable attendance and follow-through with responsibilities
• Weekend availability is a must and flexibility with short notice scheduling is appreciated
