Summary
The Event Coordinator reports directly to the Manager and is responsible for coordinating the strategic planning, staffing, administration, and daily management of events/trips. The Event Coordinator must have strong interpersonal and organization skills, and be an enthusiastic leader who helps support the client’s team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate events including scheduling, deployment, budgets/estimates.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintain close coordination and communicate regularly with clients to ensure both new and existing requests and expectations are met.
- Maintain relationships with key industry partners, professional organizations, and client-related industry associations or groups.
Requirements
- Experience in leading the successful planning, and execution, of events programs
- Proven track record of identifying, analyzing, and implementing solutions from routine to moderate-complex operational and management problems
- Strong leadership, analytical, project management, organizational, corporate communications, and executive decision-making skills.
- Seasoned in high-level presentation, interaction, and collaboration with senior management.
