We are hiring for a Fryer Operator in our TX facility. The Fryer Operator operates the deep fryer that take the raw skins and turn them into pellets. Ensures the finished product meets customer specifications and company standards for the highest quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations
• Operates deep fryer
• Performs machine preventative maintenance checks, diagnostic checks, and routine adjustments on equipment.
• Coordinates with other operators in varying departments.
• Controls and monitors Times, Temperatures, and quality requirements to ensure product meets customer specifications.
• Prepares and maintains process control sheet data.
• Monitors and troubleshoots oil recovery system.
• Performs tests for quality requirements and machine efficiencies.
• Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment during scheduled shutdown and as needed.
• Interprets data from computer screens, graphics, and conversion charts to prepare data reports.
• Communicates problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel.
• Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.
• Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Responsible for the execution of the Waste Management Procedure.
• Follow the Food Defense Procedure.

Requirements:

• Experience in GMP’s, Allergen control, Employee safety, Fire and evacuation, Food security
• Extensive knowledge of cooking process· Ability to work in fast paced environment that involves repetitive motion· Good communication capabilities· Follow written and oral instructions· Good vision capabilities to perform inspection of equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT:· This position requires the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, working with hazardous chemicals and materials, etc.· While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over slippery surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as samples and record boxes. This position requires frequent pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 70lbs.
