Full Charge Bookkeeper

Your position will coordinate with our team and clients by:

  • Recording financial transactions with allocations in QuickBooks Online
  • Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Ensuring all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
  • Responding to clients’ inquiries and asking for supporting documents
  • Assisting with year-end filings for clients, such as 1099s, W2s, etc.
  • Assisting with year-end tax preparation and audit support for clients

Qualifications that will make you stand out to us:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper or similar position
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills such as Pivot tables, Macros, Vlookups, Sparkline, etc. using Google Sheets and Excel
  • Must have an active QuickBooks Online Certification or be willing to complete the certification on the job
  • Experience with using Asana for work management and collaboration is a PLUS
  • Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving communication and time management skills
  • Must be able to work during regular business hours – Monday through Friday (EST or PST timezone)
