Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility, supervising a team of housekeeping staff, and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations. This is a leadership role within the hospitality industry, specifically in hotel housekeeping management. Duties: – Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations – Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene – Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable – Oversee the inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment – Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction – Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards – Address guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and effectively – Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues – Monitor and manage departmental budgets Skills: – Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team – Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques – Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills – Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment – Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – Proficient in using housekeeping management software or systems – Understanding of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations Requirements: – Previous experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred – Knowledge of laundry operations is an asset – Proven experience in supervising a team of housekeeping staff – Familiarity with hotel operations and standards – High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in hospitality management is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
