Job Summary

The Inside Channel Manager works in tandem with their field counterparts covering a specific sales region managing their assigned partners and other regional partners at all levels. They recruit, enable and empower their partners to sell Optimum, and this entails a number of both sales and marketing activities. They are responsible for creating new sales opportunities for their partners and working deals that are already in the pipeline in an effort to over-achieve against their assigned quota.

Responsibilities

•High volume of outbound activities expected (calls/emails), order tracking and processing, as well as tracking Escalations.
•Receiving and responding to inbound sales opportunities and doing whatever is necessary to bring them to closure.
•Maximizing coverage within a defined region and penetrate organizations with Optimum products.
•Coordinating sales activities with partners/consultants/distributors and resellers to identify and close new business.
•Telephone and email contact partners to identify net new sellers, and to maintain relationships within our partner community.
•Developing a solid working knowledge of Optimum products and the benefits they provide to potential customers.
•Providing support to qualified prospects and customers including follow up, product information, quotations and closures.
•Providing forecasting and account opportunity as needed.
•Updating and maintaining the CRM system (SalesForce).

Qualifications

•Two – three (2 -3) years’ experience in a sales role
•Experience working with Channel Partners within the Enterprise space preferred
•Experience working with National TSDs/TSBs back office preferred
•Experienced in training and enabling Channel Partners via in-person or Teams platform
•Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
•Excellent electronic correspondence skills, with knowledge of basic business research tools
•Work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must have high-energy and a positive attitude
•Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
