Full Job Description

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Director of Pari-Mutuels and Licensing.

  • Processing of license applications for racing participants and licensee employees.
  • Submitting fingerprints for background checks of license applicants.
  • Recording criminal history information into licensing system.
  • Assisting in the tracking of the fulfillment of licensee requirements.
  • Inputting the daily pari-mutuel activity from live racing, satellite wagering facilities, and historical horse racing into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Performing of other miscellaneous duties related to licensing and the regulation of pari-mutuel wagering.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience in data entry
  • Some accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Pari-Mutuel wagering helpful
