Join our team at A Tree Planted! We are a small counseling practice looking for a part-time office assistant to return client phone calls and emails to coordinate care with our counselors. You will be the first point of contact for our office. This is a part-time, work-from-home position requiring 7-12 hours per week. This is a fully remote position.

Our practice values collaboration, fostering an empowering work atmosphere, and decreasing barriers to mental health services in underserved areas/populations. At our core, we believe quality counseling begins and ends with quality counselors. We are committed to developing counselors into leaders in their field so they are highly skilled in working with a diverse clientele. We promote a workplace model

Duties:

-Return phone calls and email in a timely and professional manner

-Collaborate with clinicians to develop and maintain caseloads

-Help with troubleshooting technology issues

-Organize and maintain office paperwork (digitally)

-Update website as needed

Skills:

-Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google Drive

-Excellent technical skills to learn new systems

-Basic level understanding of mental health issues

-Appropriate phone/email/client interface etiquette

-Strong organizational skills

-Personable phone/email demeanor

Priority given to candidate with knowledge of the mental health field in the Roanoke, VA area.
