Pega Business Analyst (100% Remote) – The Mom Project

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Business Analyst on a contract basis to join our effort to be a premier online destination for all things in our company. The role will be mostly analyst-focused and business-facing, with blended responsibilities including Scrum Master, testing, data management, and product support. Demonstrated experience with the Pega BPM platform is required.

What You’ll Do

• Performs technical analytics related to advanced data analysis, data mining, and source to target mapping.
• Creates and maintains complex context processes and system diagrams.
• Work with remote groups such as vendors, other Customer facilities, and or departments to gather and document tactical requirements from the business.
• Ensures standards, processes, and policies are followed within their department.
• Creates and applies global process standards to regional technology solutions. Works with systems personnel to implement the design.
• Participates in the development of project plan/timeline.
• Provides input into project mgmt.
• Communicates project status to mgmt.
• Participates in change management at the department and end-user level.
• May create reports and consult on best practice configuration of systems.
• May configure packaged solutions to unique and complex business requirements.
• Performs complex testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts including the expected results and the validation of test results.
• Communicate and document system changes to the business.
• Translate system functionality into business-relevant language.
• Create and manage stories and defects and manage sprints in JIRA, facilitate story planning and review meetings with the product development team, help remove and resolve roadblocks.
• High-level solutioning with Product Owner/Manager, detailed level requirements facilitation, documentation and demos with business process owner(s), detailed level solutioning with senior developers, engagement and coordination with other product development teams, and platform support.
• Triage and analyze issues from the user community, solve level-1 issues, coordinate outage communications affecting owned applications, collaborate with developers for level-2 issues.
• Testing/Release Support – Facilitate and perform some user acceptance testing, perform light change and release management, including training when necessary.
• Assist with additional Data Management duties as necessary, including pulling and disseminating reports and assessing potential data process automation opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have

• 3+ years experience as Pega Business Architect (8.4 or above certification preferred)
• 3+ years experience working in a business process automation product team with a focus on case management
• 2+ years experience working in Agile/SCRUM delivery model in Scrum Master or Product Owner role
• Experience with QA testing (manual or automated)
• Experience working in Finance related field/industry
• Experience with Robotics Process Automation (Pega or other platforms) is a plus
• Experience with Alteryx data workflow management is a plus
• Must have strong engagement, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote
