Power BI Developer – DAX, M Language, Data Warehousing, SQL – Humba Ventures

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights from data. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and an ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Optimize Power BI data models for performance and efficiency.
• Implement DAX calculations and measures for advanced data analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Work with SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with M Language and M Query is a plus.
• Understanding of Azure services and tools such as SSIS and SSAS is a huge plus bot not required.
• Knowledge of Data Visualization and story telling is a huge plus.
• Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and Data Modeling techniques is a plus as well.
