Ritchey Metals is a growing metals manufacturing company and we’re currently looking for Production Workers!

No experience is necessary and it’s okay to make mistakes because our President says “Growth comes from failure.” That’s why we dedicate time on the job to train our employees throughout their time with the company. Companywide training occurs every day at Ritchey Metals and our employees drive the program. We have defined training career paths with opportunities for promotions and raises while only working 7 days in a 2-week span. All new hire training takes place on Day Shift, 7am-3pm Wednesday-Friday, until fully trained to begin rotating shifts.

Shifts Available:

• 7A-7P Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday
• 7A-7P Thursday-Saturday every other Wednesday
• 7P-7A Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday
• 7P-7A Thursday-Saturday every other Wednesday

You will be working 12 hour shifts 3 days one week and 4 days the next week; you will have 180 days off a year!

Pay Shift Differentials:

• Sunday-Thursday night shift: +$1.50 added to base rate
• Saturday-Sunday 7am day shift: +$1.50 added to base rate
• Friday-Saturday-Sunday night shift: +$3.00 added to base rate

Paid Retention Bonus Payouts:

• $100 after 90 days
• $150 after 6 months
• $250 after 1 year

What You Will Do

During the 1st Month:

• Learn about Ritchey Metals through various onboarding sessions, including our history and what various departments do
• Establish regular meetings with various stakeholders (your Plant Manager, Supervisor and Team Lead) to learn more about our processes and where you can step in right away
• Operation of forklift, furnaces, and mixers
• Band/package & weigh/mark material for shipment.

Within 3 Months:

• Fill molds, ensuring the utmost quality
• Pouring shapes
• Set up pouring around kettles
• Stacking finished products
• Hand ladle liquid metal
• Takes samples of material and per forms analysis using lab equipment.
• Learn to enter data into our systems

Within 6 Months:

• Weighing units
• Learn how to release metal from molds
• Operate pumps and kettles the proper way
• Pouring of molten metal
• Open & close tap holes

Within 12 Months to 4 years:

• Load furnaces
• Operate lab equipment
• Operate furnaces
• Alloying metal; knowing what metals to combine, specific amounts while meeting the specifications of the customer.

We are seeking candidates who are quality focused, friendly, team players, and quick learners. This position consists of manual and physical labor in a supervised environment to meet the production demands of the company. To be successful in this role you are:

THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO LIFT AND/OR MOVE 100 POUNDS, REGULARLY EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS AND EXTREME HEAT AND VIBRATION.
