Job Description

Full-time position bridging the implementation of retirement start-up plans from the Business Development team to the Relationship Manager. Regularly working 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Wonderful working environment with opportunity for growth. This position is full time, hourly and nonexempt.

Duties

  • Complete the implementation of all retirement start-up plans coordinating directly with the client/broker/vendor during the implementation process
  • Gather all necessary documentation: Review and verify for compliance and operational accuracy, audit plan design for inefficiencies
  • Understand and proficiently apply relevant laws and regulations to clients’ benefit plans
  • Interact with plan sponsors, advisors/brokers, investment providers and previous TPA
  • Coordinate asset transfers between old vendors if necessary
  • Track communication, documents and data during plan set-up
  • Manage workload and client communications for multiple clients being on-boarded simultaneously
  • Learn and keep current on laws and regulations governing retirement plans through training and education
  • Coordinate external client and internal NBS department and team trainings
  • Meet or exceed required level of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in all measured areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Vice President

Qualifications

  • Have strong interpersonal skills which project a friendly, knowledgeable custom service approach
  • Have excellent customer relations skills and the ability to foster and
    maintain effective relationships
  • Be professional and articulate in both verbal and written communication
  • Obtain and keep current on appropriate industry certifications
  • Have strong computer skills including typing, 10-key, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe
  • Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy of work; maintain an organized approach to duties and responsibilities
  • Be highly motivated, hardworking and have a positive attitude
  • Be well-organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and work well within a team

Education and Experience – Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent preferred. RPF, TGPC-1 or DC-1 preferred. Retirement industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements – This position requires the employee to be seated the majority of the work time.
