At Cognizant we are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Architect with 15 to 19 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in JUnit5 Design Patterns YAML Spring Boot Java JSON GIT XML Spring Framework and Linux. Experience in SC Intelligence and Planning within the Consumer Goods domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.

Location: Stamford, Connecticut (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Spring Boot and Java to meet business requirements.

· Oversee the implementation of design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code architecture.

· Provide expertise in JUnit5 for unit testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

· Utilize YAML for configuration management and ensure seamless integration with various systems.

· Implement and maintain JSON and XML data formats for efficient data exchange between systems.

· Manage source code using GIT to ensure version control and collaboration among team members.

· Deploy and manage applications on Linux environments to ensure robust and reliable operations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

· Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

· Possess strong technical skills in JUnit5 Design Patterns YAML Spring Boot Java JSON GIT XML Spring Framework and Linux.

· Demonstrate experience in SC Intelligence and Planning within the Consumer Goods domain is a plus.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

· Showcase strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

· Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

· Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

· Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning.

· Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

· Show a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

· Demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

· Possess a strong understanding of software development best practices and coding standards.

· Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
