Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for world-class product managers to expand the team. As a Senior Product Manager for WildFire, at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for driving the malware detection feature roadmap with measurable outcomes that push the envelope of innovation.

WildFire is the largest cloud-delivered advanced malware detection service in the world integrated across the Palo Alto Networks product portfolio and partner products. You will be involved with the development of WildFire across the entire development lifecycle from conception through launch. You will also work very closely with product managers across our broader team.

To be successful in this position you possess strong written and verbal communication skills, strong business insights and technical skills with a passion for driving WildFire to deliver best in class security. You will bridge customer business requirements with trends in the threat landscape and be comfortable articulating this vision with customers, prospects and industry analysts. You have a successful track record of working closely with the Engineering to drive the product roadmap.

Your Impact

• You will deliver a best in class product by understanding customer needs and the threat landscape to detect and prevent advanced malware

• You will develop, lead, and communicate product roadmap to customers, prospects and all internal key team members

• You will integrate Wildfire into diverse solutions both within and outside the Palo Alto Networks product portfolio

• You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver a best in class product and then collaborate with Product Marketing and Go To Market to translate technical features into easy to consume messaging and collateral to support sales and field marketing teams

• You will collaborate with a broader cross-functional team to drive sales and eliminate any sales friction and delight the customer

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Own the roadmap for the threat detection and efficacy of WildFire serving tens of thousands of enterprise customers globally

• Work with threat research and engineering to design and build capabilities previously impossible to deliver at scale to detect and prevent malware in networks globally

• Coordinate and drive feature prioritization and tradeoffs; working closely with customers, threat researchers, engineers, and DevOps to deliver the right capabilities at the right time to defeat the adversary

• Take these groundbreaking features to the market with teams that will help deliver:

  • The most compelling stories to our customers

  • Useful education for the field

  • Services and support that can solve the customer’s problems

  • New product offerings that work and make sense

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity product management with a preferred background in SOC, malware analysis, sandboxing technology, or related technologies

• Strong understanding of the threat landscape, trends and competition to build capabilities that leapfrog the market and stay ahead of emerging threats

• Strong analytical skills to be able to participate in packaging and pricing decisions

• Strong evidence of leading major features from inception to launch with excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences
