Title: Shelter Staff (Mid Shift) Downtown

Salary: $20.60/hr + $2/hr Temp. Additional Pay

Shift: Wed., Thur., Fri. and alteranting Sat. (6:00pm-3:30am)

Reports To: Program Manager, Team Lead Supervisor

SUMMARY: Shelter staff will engage with, check in on, and manage a case load of vulnerable individuals in response to the COVID-19 virus with the goal to help them attain housing.
With that in mind, staff should understand that they will possibly come into contact with individuals who have COVID-19.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend supervision, staff supervisions, staff meetings & any appropriate community professional meetings.

  • Assist the assigned caseload in finding sustainable housing.

  • Participate in compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Adhere to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to Do Good Multnomah’s policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.

  • Employee and participant advocacy.

  • Source and retain community partnerships

  • Develop innovative programming.

  • Assist in management of food box program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political aff iliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
