Full Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure there is proper driver coverage to provide service for each route. Meet with project manager to ensure all routes are covered before leaving for the day.
  • Track ridership and provide reports to the client as requested.
  • Work with ABM DOT staff to ensure all driver files are in compliance with DOT and JJ Keller standards.
  • Ensure that all shuttles are maintained properly and are in compliance with all state and local licensing and permitting requirements. This includes taking each shuttle to the mechanic for inspection and repair.
  • Provide the tools necessary for the parking office staff to be able to dispatch call in the timeliest manner possible.
  • Serve as the contact person for customer service and shuttle related issues.
  • Collaborate with other ABM managers and the client in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
  • Monitor SmartDrive. Coach and counsel employees based on their SmartDrive reports and scores.
  • Operate a shuttle in the event of an emergency or lack of coverage.
  • Ensure new employees are properly trained and cleared before allowing them to drive.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Proven communication skills both written and verbal.

Good customer service skills.

Experience working in parking facilities.

Knowledge of MS Office including word, excel, outlook and powerpoint.
