Job Description – Sales Associate
Altenergy, in Maryland/DC Metro is seeking a Sales Associate for our growing team. The Sales Associate will work directly with branch management to develop residential project leads, survey sites, estimate project costs, develop proposals, and oversee the permitting process post-contract. Qualified applicants will have strong communication skills, be comfortable meeting lots of new people, be radically committed to a customer first mentality, and be willing to aggressively learn our trade. A Day In The Life Of A Sales Associate
- Collaborate with Branch Manager on cultivating residential and commercial sales leads
- Identify and drive sales plans for Grand Rapids and surrounding area; meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
- Work closely with design and installation teams on develop sales proposals and estimate project costs
- Participate in regular sales meetings; complete regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts
- Oversee permitting process and develop with external vendors

- Self-started with strong communication skills, with a willingness to go above and beyond to drive success
- Ability to take initiative, with some direction
- Team player that’s flexible and not afraid to ask questions or speak up
- Strong interest in solar and renewable energy
- Detail and process oriented – comfortable becoming a specialist in new processes
