Welcome Center Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor – COMHAR, Inc.

At COMHAR, it’s our mission to provide health and human services that empower individuals, families and communities to live healthier, self-determined lives. We are currently expanding our Outpatient Behavioral Health services and are looking for a Welcome Center Coordinator/Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding team.

The Welcome Center Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor works from a recovery framework and uses evidenced based practices, cultural competency and trauma informed practices to clinically supervise the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides recovery oriented, trauma informed and culturally competent clinical supervision to Mental Health and Substance Abuse therapists
• Works in collaboration with director, clinical supervisors, psychologist to ensure quality services and data collection
• Chart monitoring to ensure that treatment plans, progress summaries, discharge summaries are in line with the Network Inclusion Criteria Standards for Excellence.
• Provides NIAC, Evidence Based Practices and state regulated trainings to MH and SA therapists
• Completes chart audits to ensure compliance and quality reviews and documents thoroughly on QM form
• Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings, individual supervision, evidenced based practice supervision to review progress on cases in order to ensure communication and comprehensive approach to treatment, including collaborating with external teams to ensure coordination between systems.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for each patient and other documentation in a timely fashion utilizing electronic health record
• On call responsibilities
• Assist with orientation and training to new staff and fee-for-service therapists and/or interns
• Ensures training and supervision of all peer volunteers and CPS staff in the Welcome Center
• Creation of Resource board and upkeep of Welcome Center resource guides
• Triage of all individuals presenting in the Welcome Center
• Ensures outreach to all individuals who present in the Welcome Center up to and including mobile outreach to connect to services.
• Review CPS/volunteer notes/documentation who work in the Welcome Center
• Responsible for entering, tracking, monitoring and analyzing Welcome Center data
• Participates in case conferences with therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, care managers and peer specialists
• Assists with crisis management and de-escalation

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in a clinical mental health discipline; in order to count as a mental health degree, the degree must contain at least twelve (12) credit hours in core behavioral health coursework.
• Three years post Master Degree experience providing mental health treatment including psychotherapy, counseling and assessment is required.
• Must have LCSW, LMFT or LPC
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) a plus.
