SCOPE OF POSITION :

The Welder is responsible to weld according to the details and AWS standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain a 100% accuracy for all work produced
• Label all parts in the correct method
• Do not cut any material that has conflicting dimensions
• Maintain a clean working environment with safety being a focus
• May be asked to perform additional duties as required
• Deliver all work per timeline that is being requested
• Must develop shop skills as needed by Supervisor
• Read blueprints and drawings for fabrication
• Maintain a time log of work progress
• Be able to read a tape and cut material accurately

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

• MIG welding for light and heavy gauge materials
• Read and understand blueprints
• Grinding and Finishing
• Fluent in English and Spanish speaking skills optional but preferred.
• Must be skilled in accurately recording information on service tickets
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
