We deliver this by expanding our existing constellation to 60+ LEO satellites in the next two years that will remap the planet at sub-meter resolution on a weekly basis. Our constellation will ultimately grow to offer our customers daily world remaps in 2025.

About the team 

The Marketing team is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the brand and communication strategy, executing integrated marketing programs to support business development, partnerships and lead generation efforts.

Marketing activities include designing and building the company’s brand, ensuring consistency in brand messaging, style, and content across all communication channels; creating and managing public relations, events and digital media planning, and developing external facing collaterals, product branding, and sales support materials, among others.

About the role

Satellogic is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead outbound marketing activities, increasing customer engagement and paving the way for growth across the market. This role will work collaboratively with the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to create demand for products through effective messaging and integrated marketing campaigns. The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the VP of Marketing. 

Responsibilities 

The Product Marketing Manager will:

  • Conduct market analysis to monitor the competitive landscape, identify applications for the existing offering, and obtain in-depth understanding of buyer motivations and user needs to help establish product differentiators
  • Develop, implement and oversee a comprehensive and detailed GTM plan for current and new products and services, including creative promotion strategies and key activities to drive demand for our products with innovative marketing practices
  • Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Build on product messaging and positioning, crafting captivating messages that sets the company’s products apart from others to communicate the offering portfolio value proposition, features and benefits to customers
  • Help create sales collateral and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle (e.g. presentations, case studies, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, landing pages, social media copy, advertisements, etc.)
  • Understand and support our sales channels and train them on the problems we solve for our users
  • Assess projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and potential clients, and analyse the success of the marketing campaigns
  • About You 

    Experience and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in marketing or business related field
  • Ability to combine creativity and strategic thinking, while being up to date with latest marketing trends, technology, techniques and and researching emerging consumer needs and experiences
  • Proven success in developing and executing promotional campaigns for products across a wide range of marketing channels
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated experience in managing a wide range of marketing tools across different channels, including proficiency in CRM tools, marketing automation tools, digital campaigns, web strategy, and other marketing technologies
  • Demonstrated hands-on ability in managing the production of a diverse range of marketing assets
  • Ability to multitask on several programs with little supervision
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including keen attention to detail is critical
  • Excellent English presentation and writing skills
  • Exceptional team player who thrives in a multi-disciplinary team, well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
