CIB- Credit Risk – Analyst – JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires

The Argentina Credit Team is a team of credit analysts that supports Credit Risk groups in Latin America and North America. Credit Risk is responsible for managing the credit portfolio generated by lending, trading, cash management and other activities, maintaining close partnership with CIB Coverage, Corporate Banking, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Sales & Trading and Treasury & Security Services. Credit Risk analysts develop the analytical skills needed to evaluate and assess clients, credit exposure requests and transaction structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Core credit analysis on a portfolio of clients
  • Client due diligence
  • Financial spreading and analysis
  • Financial projections
  • Industry and country analysis; peer analysis
  • Preparation of credit memos that contain well-founded and forward looking views on clients that support credit ratings
• Credit facility set-up and review
• Periodic portfolio and industry reviews presented to senior credit executives and business partners
• Ad-hoc projects

Skill Requirements / Competencies

• Corporate finance and accounting knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Highly motivated, proactive attitude, with a natural passion to learn and an inquisitive personality
• Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks
