Now we are looking for a VP of IT operations (IT operations team). The candidate will be in charge of successfully developing the company’s internal products and IT processes. The company is growing, and work processes are getting more complex. We would like to reduce the bureaucratic load on our employees to make work easier and more pleasant for them. The internal product block currently involves 6 independent teams working on the following products: goal-setting system, intranet portal, DWH for marketers (lead aggregation and enrichment as well as integration with Marketo marketing platform) and back office, company blog, affiliate program engine support, etc.

After successfully taking on those projects, we will also offer to take responsibility for supporting and developing the IT finance block, which includes ERP, BI, DataWareHouse, and other internal products.

Generally speaking, someday in the future, we expect that this role will involve handling all IT development and support processes that are not directly related to the “Product.”

There’s a lot of different work management software in the company, for example, Jira, Confluence, and many other kinds of internal service software. We need these systems supported and their maintenance improved to make them convenient for every employee as well as compliant with various ISO 27001, SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams responsible for internal systems inside the company, including systems for HR, marketing, sales and finances.
  • Determine and execute strategy for the IT department.
  • Automate internal administrative business processes.
  • Determine and execute strategy for the IT department.
  • Draw up a budget, make sure it’s protected and complied with.
  • Set up continuous operation of the company’s office IT infrastructure.
  • Provide the infrastructure and network base to other departments, HR IT, Finance IT, as well as participate actively in the RFP process to purchase IT software for the associated departments.
  • Arrange outsourced development for projects not involving in-house teams.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of working experience as an IT Director/CIO/Technical Director/VP or similar roles.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Experience in integration and operation of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Navision, etc.).
  • Eager to build strong relationships with people, encourage them to grow and seek new challenges.
  • Be motivated and know how to motivate others.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the pros, cons, and potential pitfalls of various development methodologies including Agile, as well as knowing how to apply them in practice.
  • B2+ level of English (we have colleagues in the US and EU).
