This is an opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on the foundation upon which Oracle NetSuite is built – dealing with challenges in defining, designing, and deploying our service infrastructure built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is a key strategic project for Oracle and will give you great exposure to different business lines.
In this role, you will help us test and validate an infrastructure footprint which spans multiple datacenters and continents, blending private and public cloud. You will design and engineer frameworks that allow our infrastructure to be tested and validated through repeatable and consistent processes. Additionally, you will help define and develop the software, workflow, and tooling of our Continuous Integration and Deployment framework(s) in the Oracle Cloud.
- Developing automated tests, along with the associated tooling (setup, tear down, reporting, and analysis) to support the testing framework.
- Developing and executing software test plans.
- Identifying failures in software systems (packaging, application, network, cloud resources) and reporting the issues in defect tracking system.
- Analyzing complex systems at all levels of the stack, on both client and server (OS, Network, JVM, Application, Browser, CLI, and Storage).
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

- Understanding of modern distributed application architectures.

- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks and strategies, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo.
- Experience building, testing, and maintaining cloud systems written in Python, Ruby, or other scripting language.
- Real world experience in testing, designing, or architecting scalable multi-tier systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Experience working with a Cloud platform, such as AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Understanding of networking protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, LDAP.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
