Safrican is a respected life insurer with a footprint in South Africa and a subsidiary in Eswatini. Safrican has over 2 million principle lives covered and more than 7 million lives assured, The Company has grown from strength to strength since 2004 .
Purpose
To capture information from hard copy to electronic system (i.e excel , SharePoint ) and ensure that the information that is captured is accurate and in good standard.
Formal Qualifications
Matric
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in data capturing
Working Requirements and Knowledge Understanding of word, excel and basic computer system; Ability to manage relationships between and within different operational Attention to Detail Strong Computer Literacy Ability to work Under pressure and under stressful conditions Proficiency typing and excellent proof-reading skills Time management skills Maintain strict confidentiality
Key Responsibilities Enter information from documents to be stored and transmitted Consistently check work for accuracy and completeness Reads the information and keys the data into the necessary fields Responsible for storing and filing completed information and maintaining records and files Operates a variety of machines and equipment such as computer with a variety of system, keyboards, scanners, printers, and copy machines. Knowledge of specific computer software and programs for data entry tasks. Enters data onto tapes or disks for later entry Good Communication Skills
