Financial Assistant – Shoprite Group

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the role is to assist the Financial Manager with processing of orders, invoices for payments, pulling of daily, weekly and monthly reports, analyzing data as required. The successful candidate must have knowledge of excel, basic accounting and be able to do ad-hoc tasks and general assistance as and when required.

Job Objectives

Processing of invoices , collection and recording financial information. Ensuring accuracy in capturing and checking of information captured on SAP. Assisting with monthly reports ,scanning, filing documents as per set standard.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Certificate in Bookeeping
  • Certificate in Accounting

Experience

  • Excel Intermediate
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Finance Administrative role
  • Minimum of 1 year eperience in bookeeping
  • Knowledge of the SAP Finance system
