In your role as Frontend Tech Lead (m/f/d) you will play a key role in the engineering of our cutting-edge quick grocery commerce platform working and leading a cross-functional team structure across one of Flink’s domains.

Job Description

• You will have significant experience Leading Engineering teams and projects within a consumer-facing e-commerce ecosystem and back-office within a large organisation

• Lead and mentor the team with tech roadmaps, architecture decisions, and feature development and release-cycle across Flink’s back office, warehouse, and rider tech

• Drive and play a significant part in the discussions and sprint planning of new features

• Closely collaborate across other domain teams to deliver value to the end-user in a global context

• Drive the web chapter towards adapting and experimenting with new technologies

• Contribute to scaling up the web team and bringing great talents onboard by conducting interviews and code pairing sessions

• Owning and developing the roadmap of your domain E2E working closely with the counterpart on the Fullstack and Backend chapters

Qualifications

• Senior and/or Lead Experience building scalable and reliable applications

• Open-minded personality, comfortable working in an Agile environment and making high-level decisions as well as effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as Typescript and comfortable with at least one JavaScript framework, like Vue, React, or Angular

• Ability to implement modern Frontend services such as Headless CMS, SaaS services, Map APIs etc.

• Rigor in high code quality, unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and technologies

• Researching and staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies (DDD, Node.js, micro-frontends etc.)

• Fluent English communication skills
