For our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, we are looking for a dedicated Trainee Human Resources (f/m/d).

As a Trainee Human Resources (f/m/d) you will work in a key department of HeidelbergCement. The selection and development of our employees is particularly close to our hearts, because it is our employees who make sure that we not only remain one of the world’s largest building materials companies but also lead the way to carbon neutrality in our industry.

During your 18-months as a Trainee, you will be assigned to various specialist departments and support colleagues in the daily business and project work.

Your main tasks

  • Help your colleagues find, excite, and match exceptional talent to our current vacancies
  • Support the HR Business Partners in their strategic and operational HR work
  • Accompany the further development of our employees in our Center of Excellence and work on projects like optimizing our succession planning strategy

  • Overall
    : Use your outside-in perspective: Generate innovative ideas to continuously improve our HR processes and implement those improvements into the daily work


Your profile

  • Master degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • First HR experience from internships or working student positions
  • International experiences e.g. from studies abroad will be highly appreciated
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented and results-driven working style
  • Excellent English and German language skills, additional language skills are a plus
