POSITION MISSION
To perform a commercial procurement role covering strategic purchasing of current products and project buying activities for new ones.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Execute spend analysis to develop purchasing strategies for the categories assigned including “make/buy” evaluations along with the operations team
• Define the most suitable strategy relevant to the categories assigned ensuring alignment with other departments and EMEIA category management team
• Implement purchasing procedures and processes ensuring compliance with the Purchasing governance in Group and BU Processes
• Manage reporting and corporate tools for project and vendor management
• Negotiate contractual and pricing strategy aimed to guarantee cost saving in the frame of a suitable technical alignment
• Lead resourcing initiatives and supply transition management
• Support resolution of commercial issues
• Manage Price lists (evaluation, negotiation and ERP system update) and supplier documentation
• Manage RFI and select suppliers based on defined functional requirements
• Manage Phase-out suppliers plans
• Manage the RFQ cycle guaranteeing compliance with the budget, timing, contractual requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proven working experience as Strategic Buyer
• Record of successful contractual negotiations
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams handling multiple projects
• Degree in a related field such as Engineering, Economy or Business Administration
• Confident, engaging and assertive
• Takes responsibility for ensuring a high quality of work
• Continually challenges existing processes and strives for improvement
• Works to ensure suppliers meet or exceed quality requirements
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and personally committed to achieving objectives set
• Able to professionally communicate in English
• Proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
