You will add value to the service we offer to our customers and gain exposure to managing a portfolio of Key Accounts to ensure business growth and retention through continuous improvement opportunities.
Your Role
As Excellence Management & Tender Expert, you will play a vital part in our Key Account Management Team, working with multiple Key, National and Global, Accounts to provide reporting, administration and customer service excellence while supporting your fellow Key Account Managers (KAM).
After proven record of accomplishment, you could also gain experience in managing your own portfolio of customers, providing a quality service to ensure customer retention and business growth through the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement within the customer’s supply chain.
Your Responsibilities
- Support KAM in commercial activities such as the identification and development of up-selling opportunities and the development of innovative/technical solutions
- Support Request for Information (RFI) response preparation, as well as Request for Quotation (RFQ) strategy and value proposition creation, coordinating the process in close collaboration with Key Account Manager
- Ensure a smooth implementation of new business, arranging the handover to the respective business units and operational teams
- Monitors agreed customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and agrees corrective actions with Operations and KAM
- Support and attend relevant Project Meetings and periodic Business Reviews
- Provides input, drives continuous improvement program, and coordinates respective projects with Business Units / other internal stakeholders, such as Supply Chain Design (SCD) and Customer Solutions (CST)
- Constant monitoring of customer satisfaction and clarification of queries
- Administrative and reporting support for KAM, ensuring accuracy in system information and preparation of reports and presentations
Your Skills and Experiences
- 2/3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in fast-paced forwarding/logistics supply chain consulting/manufacturing environment
- Strong customer orientation and can demonstrate an ability to build partnering relationships
- Self-starter, Process-driven, good (self-) organisation skills
- Familiarity to work on multiple projects and levels and delegate where required
- High level of MS Office user skills and experiences as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to quickly build credibility with key stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of and experience of adherence to quality standards (such as GXP) would be considered a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English are required
