STRONG FOOD AND BEVERAGE BACKGROUND REQUIRED.Five stars hotel in Rome, part of Leading Hotels of the World is looking for a Resident Manager position with a strong food and beverage background.-Mission of the roleYou will be responsible, together with the General Manager, of the planning, coordination, supervision and results of all the operations and service department of the Hotel. You will be directly involved in supervising operations, actively interacting with department heads, guests and hotel employees complying with the brand policies and procedures, established goals, service and maintenance quality standards.Main responsibilities1- Support of the General Manager in a direct and decisive way in the implementation of projects, strategies, budgets and action plans, taking responsibility of the follow up until reaching the established goals and purposes.2- Direction, leadership and support to the heads of department in the execution of their responsibilities and the fulfillment of their performance goals.3- Supervises and evaluates the quality standards of the services in general, theadequate maintenance and functionality of the facilities, furniture and equipment and the cleanliness, hygiene and safety conditions of the areas, implementing the necessary actions to guarantee in this way complete guest satisfaction and respect of Leading Hotels of the world standards.4- Define and continuously implement programs and action plans aimed at achieving the highest possible occupancy with the highest average rate.5- Together with the General Manager, participates in the preparation of the budgets, deeply analyzes every month the profit and loss statement, making the pertinent recommendations to correct deviations.6- Evaluates the performance of Heads of Department, with a specific focus on Food and Beverage operations, establishing short and long-term objectives, quality and service standards, monitoring and analyzing results.7- Analyze, investigate and handle guests complaints, gathering the necessary information to make the appropriate follow up and decision and establish contact with the guest in a timely manner.8- Analyze, investigate and transmit to the General Manager and those involved the relevant information concerning guests complaints in order to take immediate corrective measures.9- In the absence of the General Manager, he assumes the authority and responsibilities of the hotel operations executing all the instructions and jobs assigned by the General Manager.
