Who we are looking for
For the Hydro Extrusion Italy HSE Department, we are looking for a:
Sustainability & Energy Specialist
The position is focused on developing and managing Hydro Extrusion Italy Sustainability and Energy programs and overseeing the delivery of efficiencies in utility consumption within Hydro.
The Sustainability & Energy Specialist identifies opportunities to increase buildings & plants efficiencies, promote renewable resources, and minimize environmental impact of our operations.
Main tasks and responsibilities

Define, implement and monitor Hydro Extrusion Italy’s sustainability and energy strategies to make the work environment and practices more eco-friendly - Access to EU and Italian funds dedicated to sustainability and energy efficiency projects
- Develop investment projects and analyze the payback
- Guarantee compliance to European and local laws regarding sustainability and energy efficiency requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the company sustainability performance in terms of production process, shipping and receiving processes
- Assess any inefficiencies in the organization in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability and come up with solutions
- Work closely with other department to incorporate sustainability practices and set environmental conservation goals
- Support Sales & Marketing department in the relationships with the customers for sustainability and energy efficiency aspects

In addition:

He/she has a strong knowledge of energy regulatory framework, energy markets and group energy management practices - He/she also knows EU and Italian laws related to sustainability management
- He/she has a strong ability to detect energy efficiency opportunities
- He/she has data analysis, project planning/management and contracts analysis/management skills
Finally, we require:

University degree in Energy management, Management engineering, environmental sciences, environmental management or sustainability management - At least 3/5 years in similar role in industrial companies
