Holistic business accountability for our African Beauty Brands in South Africa, incl. responsibility for the Education & Academy Team and the full P&L.

  • Drive the organisational change of building a new future-proof CPD organisation with the right people and the core capabilities to deliver on the defined strategy 2022 – 2024;
  • Define the strategic directions and the 3-year marketing plan, guide portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue)
  • Steer the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights, share findings with the zone to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs
  • Take ownership of launches and create the right angle of attack locally to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences;
  • Supervise the entire development process and the respect of deadlines
  • Manage the budget (forecast; price strategy, profitability of the brand, P&L, etc.)
  • Lead the marketing mix strategies and the adaptation of communication (incl. digital, e-Com. POS activations)
  • Mobilise other departments (sales, logistic, education, etc.) and partner agencies;
  • Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their marketing expertise and know-how

  • Prior work experience (7 years+) in FMCG Marketing; Digital; Trade marketing; Sales beneficial

  • Calculated, yet swift decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Extensive (+5 years) experience in the field of Marketing / Sales / Digital
