Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, the PMO – Finance will lead and / or complete the elicitation of business requirement and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role would require someone who understands and is able to utilize their technical knowledge and expertise to deliver multiple requirements as part of a moderate to large / high risk independent project. He or She should be able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including (Waterfall, SCRUM, Zurich Lean) and perform, independently, business analysis processes in accordance with Zurich Project Management Framework and the Zurich Risk Policy.
This is a 9 months fixed term contract
As PMO, your role will involve:
- Describe as-is / to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process i.e; process, data, workflow, application etc.
- Plan, conduct / facilitate elicitation sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
- Understand customers´ objectives, processes, and products in order to make recommendations.
- Support project manager in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan.
- Produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
- Planning and follow-up of Business Analyst activities for the project / program.
- Analyze and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix, and prioritize requirements.
- Support development of test plan, testing, implementation, and training activities.
- Perform quality review checks on solution.
- Support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits. In case expected benefits not achieved support the analysis to determine root cause.
- Communicate effectively through different mediums at all levels.
- Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal coaching.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and fully certified CBAP / Professional Product Owner / Professional SCRUM Master or Zurich Lean Yellow Belt (or equivalent).
- 7 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst including 4 or more years within moderate risk projects, with a proven track record
- Worked on projects for various business communities / areas, preferably in the insurance sector
- Background in Financial Services
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Well-versed in Insurance Industry
- Background in Application Landscape, Testing
- Expertise in Business Process Modelling, Requirements Analysis and Risk Management
