Merchandiser (Urgent Hiring) – Brand Center Group – Doha

As a Merchandiser, you will monitor stock movements, ensure product displays are appealing to customers and ensure that products appear in the right store or website, at the right time and in the right quantities, in addition, implement promotions for the sake of reaching customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
• Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store.
• Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake.
• Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.
• Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors.
• Create and organize promotions and advertising campaigns.
• Manage layout plans of the store and maintain inventory of products.
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
• Produce store sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services.
• Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products, remove damaged or freshness-dated products and provide optimum display of products.

Qualifications & Job specification

• A degree in business, marketing, retail or related field may be preferred.
• Proven working experience in Retail or merchandising
• Excellent communications skills
