To work closely with internal & external customers for routing/monitoring/tracking shipments from origin till delivery to consignee at destination.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Routing order follow ups
Monitoring of pick up, status of order, movement of shipment, arrival, clearance, delivery.
To be in constant touch with the customers and their broker to provide regular and timely updates
Handling of shipments as per the customers/general SOP (pre-arrival & post arrival)
Track and Trace of shipments
Ensure that DSRs are correct with timely updates
Liaising with shipping lines / airlines / origin / destination for regular updates
Auditing of documents and corrective action taken
Maintaining Daily Status Report as required for all shipments
Handing over the job files to Operations well in times as per the KPI
Record all service failures by all departments including self and customer complaints.
Ensure that department & company KPIs are met
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
Experience of at least 3 years in freight forwarding
Must possess excellent communication skills with experience in tracing and tracking shipments and keeping customers updated at all times.
