Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fleet Allocation & Planning. The Fleet Allocation & Planning Manager coordinates the forecasting, planning and development of vehicle schedules and resource allocations with each Workstreams requirements and ensures integration across the available ITC systems.

The aim of the Fleet Allocation & Planning Manager is to deliver smooth and efficient bus systems and ensure various Operations Centers have oversight leading up to and during the Tournament Time.

Qualifications

  • University degree (preferably with a Major in Transport Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic Event Experience
  • Preferably 5 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • Ideal candidate possesses previous involvement in planning and operating complex projects relative in size and nature to FIFA World Cup™
Primary Duties

  • Coordinate the creation and implementation of operational Vehicle Schedules based on service specifications. This will include but not limited to:
  • Tournament Time Bus Systems
  • TBS Workforce Shuttles
  • Driver Training
  • Test Events
  • Testing & Readiness
  • Planning driver and vehicle allocations across depots and bus systems
  • Analyze and review scheduling data to validate outputs
  • Capture and develop requirements from all workstreams on behalf of the Scheduling Team
  • Develop and maintain statistical records regarding schedules, personnel requirements, and equipment requirements.
  • Prepare, order, and proofread schedule materials prior to publication.
  • Lead on the planning and delivery of the TBS workforce and driver transport system.
  • Ensure the ITC systems are understood and incorporated into the training programs for drivers.
  • Ensure State rules, regulations and laws relating to the business area operation, labour laws and HSE regulation.
  • Implement all bus route service changes
Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Knowledge and experienced usage of Scheduling Software and Systems.
  • Advanced level of MS Office Suite – Excel focused
  • Experience in operations service planning, personnel scheduling, and/or workflow or business process administration using related software
  • Emphasis on service planning, personnel scheduling, operations dispatching, monitoring and updating workflow patterns or business processes using related software
  • Experience working within strict confidentiality and structure associated with governmental organizations
  • Experience working independently and within tight timeframes to deliver required outputs
  • Manipulate and analyze data using arithmetic formulas and detailed procedures
  • Perform basic statistical calculations rapidly and accurately
  • Read and understand rules, policies, maps, and schedules
  • Preferred experience with Qatar Transport Industry, PSV and contract operations, QTC procedures
  • Performs in a highly busy and sometimes stressful environment
